Her first scrapbook album

October 11, 2009
We went shopping for a birthday present last Thursday and Carol came along (for shopping and lunch). At Laines, while Carol and I shopped for our supplies, Rae spotted a Happy birthday album kit and decided to get that for her good friend, Angelina. I was bit hesitant (and so was Carol) as it would be quite a big project for a 5 year old, but she proved us wrong!
While Hubba went out to visit BIL’s photography exhibition, Rae and I worked on the album. Most of the work were done by Rae and I merely sat and helped a bit. So proud of her, maybe she can come join us (Carol and Angeline) for our crop this Friday ahhahahaha….

I think this will make such a special gift especially since the girls are quite good friends and they will be going to different schools next year. The good thing is that Angelina stays just across our place and we do meet up quite often, so with some efforts, I think the girls can continue to have playdates.

Started on this after 10 laps at the pool, 20mins of mindless chatting with the neighbour while soaking in the pool, 1 big pack of chicken rice from my fave chicken rice store near church, 1 big glass of water, 1 snoring Hubba nearby, no toilet break. Timed myself again and am pleased to report that I completed this under 2 hours. Good job!

After a period of drought, this is the best I can produce. This time, I timed myself and this took me 2 hours, 1 mug of coffee, 1 slice of peanut pancake and 2 toilet breaks hehehehe I can’t help it just have to add the last one in.

Project FWG

August 1, 2008

A secret project I’m working on, can’t release any other information except that I’ve been thinking about doing it and only worked on it today. I have a sinking feeling that I might be surprised myself……

Did this this morning with Rae working on her own painting.
